It has been 2 whole weeks since I have gone thrift shopping!!! That is way too long for me! I haven't gone because of the snow storm we had last week, now the weather seems great so hopefully I waited 2 weeks to bring home a huge haul! Wouldn't that be great? I hope tomorrow I find some Pyrex, some vintage linens (tablecloth's, pillowcases, aprons, etc), some more Pyrex, some retro glassware, Pyrex and did I mention Pyrex?? =)
I hope everyone has had some luck in the hunt, hopefully people are doing their spring cleaning and are donating a ton of stuff! Wish me luck!!!
I hope you have better luck than me - the last two times I've hit the thrift store, I came home empty handed. Though I must say that I left a nice Shenandoah 475 at SA, but I did reunite it with its lid for the lucky person who buys it (the lid was on a different shelf). I had second and third thoughts about leaving it, but I keep telling myself I did the right thing - I can't pick up every Pyrex I see, even if it was in great shape and not too bad a price.

Very true! I do not pick up any piece of Pyrex at the thrift stores anymore either. I used to all the time, but now unless I like it a lot or it is something that I will sell I will not buy it because I can't buy anything! That is good that you let it go, maybe soon you will find something nice.
